Joanne is a licensed conveyancer and the Director of Dott & Crossitt Conveyancers, Penrith and Blue Mountains
She has had a successful 25 year career in the industry and in 2020 established her own conveyancing business. Building it from the ground up into what became an incredibly successful conveyancing firm, she often consulted to Dott & Crossitt in 2021 before being sought out for an opportunity to take the reins at the new Penrith and Blue Mountains office in 2022 as Director and Franchisee.
Franchised offices operate as independent businesses that are closely aligned to the values and ethos of the Dott & Crossitt brand. Franchisees operate independently with their own conveyancing licences and insurances but have the backing of Dott & Crossitt solicitors and head office.
Joanne’s credentials as a conveyancer have seen her work in all facets of the industry, from residential and commercial properties through to company title and large-scale project developments. She has an Associate Degree in Law with a conveyancing major, and during her studies achieved an award for high academic excellence. She has also completed additional training including the Legal Support Training Program (Wills and Estate Administration) through the Law Society of NSW and Train the Trainer through Champion Pathfinder.
She has worked in businesses across Sydney CBD and Western Sydney and gets a great deal of gratification from supporting people through their buying and selling journey. Joanne loves her work as a conveyancer, as she is able to work with people to make them feel at ease in what can be a highly emotional and sometimes stressful situation. Whether she is helping someone purchase their first home, or their forever home, she relishes the chance to take on the details so her clients can enjoy the process.
A Lower Blue Mountains local, Joanne lives in the area with her husband and three boys and relishes any opportunity to get out into the outdoors for a bushwalk, snow skiing or camping.
