What are disbursement costs?

Disbursements are third party costs we will incur on your behalf in order to facilitate the transaction. They are mostly in the form of costs charged by government departments to issue statutory certificates or searches. What is required to be purchased depends on whether you are buying or selling, what type of property and in what State & Territory. There are some optional searches as well which you may wish to consider depending on the risk of the property (although in the majority of transactions they are not necessary).
